A COMMERCIAL NETWORK PLATFORM
In addition to creating customized mobile marketing applications and campaigns, 3 Tier Logic has built
a proprietary communication network—The 2U2 Mobile Network (2U2tm). 2U2tm is a commercial networking
platform designed to enable Gen Y consumers to access, review, and share merchandise, contests, and
promotions applicable to their interests and communication styles.
The 2U2 Networktm provides users with the tools to share exclusive deals with their friends. Each time they share,
they are rewarded with 2U2tm points that can be exchanged for cash or merchandise. In addition, 2U2tm users are able
to contribute their opinions about hot products and services by publishing pictures and text reviews on 2U2tm. This
is all achieved using a standard mobile phone and text messaging in conjunction with the 2U2 Networktm. All content
accessed on 2U2tm is replicated online so users are able to upload and manage content from a desktop computer.
The 2U2 Network can stand on its own or be integrated into 3 Tier's eim (engage, interact, measure, and track) platform.

message to the unique code to get access to the content being offered in an ad. Organizations have the flexibility to
upload new offers, contests, and other information to the network using the content upload tools offered by 2U2
tm. The

Reaching Consumers
The 2U2 Mobile Network
tm empowers consumers to use their mobile phones to search for individual
products and brands and access unique offers. Consumers simply send a text message to the number
(short code) registered in an ad generated by an organization. The 2U2 Network
tm receives the text
message from the consumer and instantly responds with a text message containing a link. Consumers
simply click on the link which automatically gives them access to the special offer being promoted
by the organization. Activating the link will also give consumers access to other content such as a
directory of vendors, the ability to search for available brands and products, maps, contact details,
and other useful content associated with an organization. In some cases, the content will have an
associated bar code number that can be shown at retail outlets for redemption. Anytime, anyplace,
users can use their mobile phones to access the 2U2 Network
tm and view this content.
2U2tm Content
The 2U2 Mobile Network
tm distributes content to the majority of mobile phones on the market today.
The content can be static or dynamic, interactive, or have search capabilities. Traditional and
proprietary content that is repurposed on 2U2
tm and accessed through the mobile phone is outlined below.
PRODUCT DATABASE AND SEARCH
Product names and associated key words can be loaded into the 2U2 Network
tm by individual retailers
and merchandisers. This will provide consumers with an ability to search for products and brands
available on 2U2
tm. For example, a search could be made for "iPods." The search would direct the
consumer to any retailer on the 2U2 Network
tm selling iPods, and also to prices and any special
coupons being offered.
CONTESTS
Organizations can use 2U2
tm to launch promotional contests designed to attract mobile users to
their property. Retailers simply embed their unique text message code into their promotional
advertisements regarding each contest. Consumers participate by sending a text message to the text
code in the promotion piece. This automatically enters them in the contest and ensures they have
access to all related contest information including entry deadline warnings, close dates, win
notifications, rules, prizes, and winner lists. The convenience of sending a simple text message
lowers the barrier to contest participation and increases awareness. Further, the necessity to
provide updates and ongoing information about the contest establishes a direct and continuing
communication with the contest participant.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS
Promotional content including specials from retailers, discounts, coupons, and sales is loaded
into the 2U2 Network
tm using content upload tools.
VIRTUAL STOREFRONTS
Virtual storefronts are essentially websites scaled down to be viewed on a standard mobile phone screen.
The 2U2 Network
tm offers tools that enable organizations to offer merchandize through virtual storefronts.
Virtual Storefronts enable each vendor to publish additional information such as sales, specials, store
contests, coupons, product lists, and other information. Items for sale or coupons can be tagged with bar
code numbers for in-store redemption. Virtual storefronts can be reached by one-touch dialling, and texting
capabilities enable the consumer to send a text message directly to the store. This allows an organization to
interact with visitors through text messaging, and further enables these companies to build databases of
mobile users for future dialogue about contests, sales, and promotions.
Leveraging Today's Technology
The 2U2 Network
tm integrates text messaging and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) pages to provide ubiquitous
access from any mobile device that has web browsing and texting capabilities. This avoids what has proven to be
a significant barrier to widespread adoption—users having to download applications onto their phones.
Content viewed through a WAP page also negates the challenge of meeting network carriers' specifications and
requirements for downloadable content and dramatically expands the marketplace. Text messaging and WAP browsing
(the primary protocols used in the 2U2 Network
tm) on the mobile phone are growing at exponential rates
(see Mobile Marketplace below).

tm is loaded by organizations using 2U2's
tm web-based tools.
Content upload tools are template-based and simple to use so that company representatives require rudimentary
computer and Internet knowledge to add, delete, or manipulate content on the 2U2 Network
tm. Contests, special
promotions, instant win games, and vendor directories can be added, deleted, or edited using a standard
desktop computer with Internet access.
The 2U2 Network
tm also provides templates for organizations to build virtual storefronts.
Using 2U2's
tm web-based tools, they can load content and specifications including parameters
of an offer, product specs, pictures, bar code numbers, store locations, and contest rules
and details. 2U2
tm tools enable organizations to generate unique text messaging codes for each
special offer, product, or contest. The 2U2 Network also provides two-way text messaging
capabilities for communication between consumer and retailer.

tm provides robust usage reports and analytics on user behaviour. Shopping malls and retail
participants can track instant win game play, contest participation, page views, and click-through
rates on all screens. This enables 2U2 clients to track the success of any given contest or special
