ActStream's tools empower organizations and people to produce, capture, deploy, and track video-based media for a wide variety of business and personal communication purposes. Using a webcam, microphone, and desktop computer, clients log onto ActStream's video-messaging applications that reside in a secure tier one data center. Here they use tools to create and deploy video-based media applications such as messages, websites, newsletters, or training and e ducational presentations. A defining feature of the ActStream tools is their simplicity which stimulates use. Clients are able to create and deploy video-based media "on the fly," in minutes, with little or no technical or design experience.

ActStream was looking for a way to introduce their interactive video and tracking application to the mass consumer market. Working with 3 Tier Logic's consultants, they chose to integrate with Facebook using Facebook's API for developers to create a widget that will provide Facebook's 50 million plus users with access to ActStream’s video messaging application. 3 Tier is building a library of thematic (birthday, seasonal, Valentine's day, greeting) video and messaging templates; Facebook users will be able to feed in their own customized pictures, text, and video into 3Tier templates and distribute them to family and friends.
