Claria Corporation is a leader in online behavioral marketing, serving tens of millions of
consumers and more than 1000 advertisers to date. The company was looking for an interactive
marketing solution to assist with the launch of a new product, BehaviorLink.

USER TRACKING AND MEASUREMENT
One of Claria's key criteria in the BehaviorLink launch was the ability to build a database
of prospects for ongoing communication about the product and about Claria’s other offerings.
Details regarding how often the video was opened and by whom was integral. Claria sent the
video directly to thousands of existing clients, presented the interactive video on their website,
and advertised it through a major banner ad campaign. Activity on a one-to-one basis was measured
as well as:
- Number of views
- Recipients of each application
- View rates
- How long each application was viewed
- Actions within the application—chapters viewed, buttons clicked
- Forwarding activity—to whom
- User comments and suggestions
A collection of registered users was prepared to provide additional information regarding BehaviorLink.
